do I have a right to be upset? ADVICE PLEASE...

Me n my bf been together for 3 years. 2 years long distance. He's away at college. We had our ups and down like any other couple. Recently, (in March) we broke up.. I found him cheating. We didn't speak for 2 months. He visited home for his sisters graduation and we spoke and decided we would work on things. Especially since he's graduating college this week and moving back home...... WELL, his family is flying out for his graduation and I never got an invite. Not from his family or from him. Do I have a right to be upset? I feel so hurt!! Being that I held him down for 3 years the least he could've done was invited me to his graduation. When he was home and we were speaking I did bring up me coming to his gradation..... and he sounded like he didn't want me there because his response was "my mom plans on keeping a graduation party for me here so u can come to that" WTF???! I never told him how hurt I was. I just cried silently. Do I have a right to be upset??? Or is it silly? I just feel so hurt... his family loves me. He claims he "loves" me so I dot understand why he wouldn't have invited me. Any advice? Thoughts? I'm just so hurt honestly and wanted to make sure I wasn't over reacting... let me know your thoughts ladies and thanks for reading :(
EDIT: I asked him if he would have enough tickets for me to come and he said "he'll see" and never got back to me about it :(
