temper tantrums!

My little man has been having temper tantrums for over a week now. He cries, screams, fusses and makes really angry faces. This normally happens when I take away things I don't want him to have or specially when I change his clothes. It's a battle every time I change his clothes he grunts and cries. I didn't expect this type of behavior till maybe when he turns One or later. I do calmly tell him why I'm taking stuff away from him or why I'm changing his clothes but man it's hard. Anyone else going through the same thing?
