advice

Im
So, me and my boyfriend aren't ttc yet but we intend to start somepoint next year/2years... is there any advice anyone can give? I'm 17, 18 in November this year and he is 23, 24 next month. We're already saving up to get our own place before we start trying hence why we want to start next year but it could be 2 years dependant on when we get our own place. We both have steady, stable jobs, he recently got an offer from somewhere he's been trying to get a job at for the last 5 years and he's gonna take it which is better money too. We're been together for 2 years in July but we both feel ready to start moving on with our lives together and making some big steps. I'm not posting this for people to comment rude things like 'you're too young to have a baby' and all that because on our current wages, we make almost between £1500-£2000 a month so we can easily afford our own place and baby. We don't intend on getting our own place till we have saved up enough for 6 months worth of rent/bills to get started with and we've worked it out that rent averaging no more than £500 a month and sticking to strict budgets when shopping, meaning no luxuries unless we know we can afford them, will average from £865-£950 a month so we can easily cover the costs of a house and with saving up for at least 6months worth of bills first, we can make sure we can always afford to live together and take care of a baby. When we finally get pregnant and we're shopping for baby stuff, most of the things we will get second hand and I already have a massive bag of baby clothes my mum kept from me and my brother and sister for when we have kids ourselves. So, is there anything you need to take other than folic acid? I know you should take that while you're ttc and for 12 weeks after concieving but is there anything else I/we should know/do for when we're ready?
