"I like you but I don't want a serious relationship"

Hey everyone. So a couple of months ago a guy that I've been friends with for over 7 years and in started sleeping together. We've always been good friends and the more we sleep together the more I like him. We sleep together nearly every weekend and this week I stayed at his house and then he stayed with me at our mutual friends house after a night out. We both said we should talk about it face to face but we haven't yet. A few weeks ago I asked what was going on with us and he said "I like you but I don't want a serious relationship if that's what you're asking" but the more we see each other the more affectionate he gets and the harder it gets for me. What should I do?
