implant?

Can someone tell me about their experience on the implant. I really want to get in birth control and I don't know which one I should get. Tell me your pros and cons and any advice please. Also, how was your period on it?

I've had my implant for almost 6 years and I love It! I've had no issues with it. No mood swings, weight gain, nothing. One positive for me is that it has actually decreased my menstrual cramps( I used to get pretty bad ones). Downside is that my periods have become erratic (hence why I am on glow). The flow has also become very irregular ranging from heavy to light. Sometimes lasting two weeks nonstop or 2 days between periods. There's also times where I go months without getting my period. All in all I am pleased with it as you only worry about replacing it every 3 years. One more thing, because I am pretty lean, the implant is sometimes visible.

I've had the implant almost a year, I'm also 21. I love it. My only con is that I cramp sometimes and it can be painful but it's generally around the time I get my period which often can be extremely light or even nothing. I've had a period only last a day-ish.

Ive had the implant for almost 2 months now, im 18 and for 2 months ive been in agony lmao. Im currently about to start my 5th week on my period. It doesnt seem to be such a great thing for me at all but its different for everyone

I've had it for a couple of months and my only con is the weight gain. Also, it makes me nervous that I don't get my period every month on the dot like I used to on the pill. A lot of spotting.

Hey I'm 21 now and I've had the implant for about a year. So far I haven't had any cons. No weight gain, mood swings, acne, etc. and I've actually had lighter periods even skipped a couple. I don't even go through a liner. Sometimes my period does last a little over a week though. But so far i prefer the implant to the pill.

I got the implant. It hurt like a b**** to get it and even worse taking it out. It was nice though, in the fact that I didn't have to remember to take pills or do anything regularly, and it made my absolutely horrendous periods a little more bearable. However, I was pretty emotional/moody while on it and gained over 70 pounds in the first year so I had mine removed.
