A dress would be nice. Who cares if it's not your graduation you're still allowed to wear dresses. They aren't strictly for graduates 🙄

I don't necessarily consider a maxi dress formal unless you dress it up that way, but for comfort I'd go with the maxi dress it's free flowing and you can move how you'd like
