anyone's baby not crawling yet?

I'm not too worried... just a tad concerned that's all. My daughter is 7 1/2 months old. Most of our family keeps wondering & asking if she is crawling yet. I feel bad that she may not be gettin enough tummy time. She has a mat that we let her practice crawling on, but all she does is scoot & roll around. A family member (without kids) stated that she's "behind". Felt a bit offended. Any 7-8 month olds still not crawling?

Mine isn't crawling yet, either. She can sit up by herself for 30 minutes if I let her, but the crawling thing has yet to come. I'm so not worried about it! They'll get there when they get there. Family and friends want our babies to grow up faster than we do! They're only little once! I just say let them be till they're ready! 💜

My baby is almost 7.5 months and hasn't even shown any sign of crawling. I think that's a little later if it ever even happens. My niece just learned she could roll to anywhere she wanted to go. There's a boy in my daughter's daycare that's almost 11 months old and he really didn't start crawling until last week. Considering he's the same age as twin girls also in the daycare that are crawling, cruising, and one is almost walking, I really think milestones like these just happen when they happen. My little girl hasn't babbled yet but the doctor said that's not concerning yet, so I won't worry about it for now.

They say babies are all different in development but it's 7 months to 10 months old that crawling can begin :) I wouldnt worry

My daughter is 6.5 months and not crawling. But my nephew didn't start crawling till 13months. And 13 months is still considered in the range of normal. For a while everyone thought he was skip crawling and go straight to walking (also ok and common).  I would also add that he has a brother who is 18months older than him and still showed no inclination to get mobile to "keep up" with his brother.

At 7/8 months there is no way I'd be concerned. Tell friends and family baby's may not crawl till they are over 1.

My LO is 7 months and a week and she has shown no sign of rolling, when I let her down she does like the crunch excercise but that's it. She still falls back when sitting unaided too. I hate these milestones as it makes you paranoid. Like my friend said "you don't see people shuffling down the street", they'll do it when ready 👍

Mines not quite 7 months yet... I think he plans on skipping crawling. He flips himself over and immediately tries to grab and pull up on things or get down off the couch, out of his seat etc. he also tries to stand up from being on his belly.. he will get his feet flat on the floor and be doing like a downward facing dog trying to push up.

7 months am no signs of wanting to crawl but she does seem like she wants to walk when I stand her up she starts moving her feet and walks as I hold her
