Steroid shot?

How many of you mamas got the steroid shot with your twins and how long after getting it did you deliver? Do you feel it helped to get it??

I had two rounds of steroid shots when I was pregnant with my triplets. They were given around 33 weeks. I had a scheduled c-section at 34 weeks. Two were born on room air and the third was only on cpap for a few hours after birth. They weighed 3lbs 15oz, 4lbs 12oz and 5lbs 3oz. Came home at 13, 16 and 15 days old respectively. Good luck!! :)

Got them at 28 weeks due to a shirt cervix. Almost 32 and no signs of labor yet. I imagine it helps even if you dont deliver soon after. Still speeds up the process.

Had a round of steroid shots at 27 weeks because I got a positive fnn test, possible preterm labor.  I am currently 29weeks +4 with twins!

I had my steroid shots at 28 weeks, not sure if I will be getting a second round. (God I hope not!) They were not pleasent. I'm now 31 weeks. My obgyn wanted to do them as a percatiounary measure because twins are usually premature. Hopefully my babies will stay in for a little while longer.

I asked my doctor but she said they would only give them to me if I was in pre term labor.

I was in pre term labour at 30w 5 d and am still in hospital trying to keep my boys in for longer. 
I was given the steroid shots, 2 doses 24 hours apart and feel better knowing theyre getting a good start as they could come any day. 
But yeah I think you have to be in pre term labour to get them
