Boyfriend hates every name I like

I swear my boyfriend just hates every name I like JUST because I like it, like something a child would do. And what really gets to me is his first child from a previous relationship, he let the mother pick the baby's name but of course I CAN'T AND every name I like gets turned down. It's really frustrating because I feel like no matter what he will refuse to agree on a name I actually love.
