I've been dating my boyfriend for 6 months and we both really really want to move in together. But I'm 19 and he's 23. My parents don't like it of course but this is something we want.

If you do move in with him make sure you are not on the lease. Be a occupant, which means you live there and the complex knows. Being a occupant you can leave the lease at any time without any issues. It makes it easier and gives you a safety net if y'all don't work out.

I'd say no simply because of your age but idk how you are as far as maturity so it really depends. When I was 19 living with someone was the last thing on my mind. And when I first met my husband I wanted us to live together but I knew in reality that wasn't a good idea. We've been together since 2012 and just moved in together a month ago after getting married.

While life is too short to not do stuff that makes you happy, life is also long and you're still young so if it does turn out being a mistake, you've got time to move and make up for it.

1. 6 months is a very short period of time
2. You're pretty young to be moving in with another man already, an exception being you two are engaged or married--which isn't the case
3. If it doesn't work out, you're stuck for the remainder of the lease with this guy
