Awkward question

Help! Does anyone know if bloating/gas can be a sign of early pregnancy? We've been TTC for 2.5 years now... my cycle is not really regular but I believe my ovulation date was about 2 weeks ago. I've been spotting (really light) for about 4 days and the past 4-5 days I've Had HORRIBLE bloating and gas... like extremely painful stuff.... It doesn't matter what I eat (or don't eat) but it's been off and on since about this past Tuesday. I should add that this is not normal for me... I usually have some mild bloating around AF but nothing like this and not so consistent... anyway, I'd appreciate any advice! Thanks!
