Is the wedding the brides day?

Many women day that the wedding is "their" day. But it takes two to get married 🤷🏼‍♀️

I mean I get the saying it's the brides day because of the dress, the decorations, planning, etc., but in the end, it'll be a union between a woman and a man, man and a man, or woman and a woman and as long as both are happy!

I said it's my day. However, were already married because of a courthouse thing (he's military and we wanted a start on paperwork and housing and stuff) and I was the one that was insisting on having a wedding too. Obviously I know it's celebrating us and our love, but I'm definitely the ring master here. He also is pretty indifferent on the wedding and any details, etc but I compromise to meet his wants as well. I'm not full bridezilla ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Depends on the couple. I know grooms who couldn't care less about the wedding, brides who couldn't care less, couples who don't care, and couples where both care
