update on bleeding

So i started bleeding on friday morning (im 7wp) i went to the doctors they booked me for scan on tues, however the bleeding got worse with bloodclots so i went to AE on saturday lunch time. They examined me said my cervix is high & closed (a good sign?) and said i could have a scan mon instead. The bleeding has carried on like a heavy period coupled with strong back ache. No intense cramps, just the feeling of period pains. Im stressed out of my mind, has anyone experienced this? Is this a strong sign I'm misscarrying and need to accept it. I hate my body for doing this.
