When to buy maternity clothes?

When did you start buying maternity clothes? I am 7 weeks and am wondering if I should start buying a few things in a week or so and then more once I make the 12 week mark. My issue is that my tummy is always bloated anyhow - and people thought that I was pregnant - even when I wasn't. So I am not sure how soon I will be showing. When did you start showing? 
I had 3 losses always around 5 weeks - so I am really confused. Thank you, ladies. 💜

I started buying items when my regular clothes no longer fit.

I'd wait until you started to bump out. If you buy them too early you could end up with clothes that don't fit right and will be uncomfortable.

I did around 16 weeks BUT that's only because of the great Christmas/Boxing day sales. I could have waited longer.

I agree with the other comments. Don't buy until your body really starts changing. Another reason to wait is that the season will likely change before you need the clothing. You will need different clothes for the fall than you would for the summer, for example.

I'm 16 weeks and all my clothes still fit just fine. I'm a teacher and summer is coming so shorts and tank top season will save me a bunch.

I'm figuring to pick up just a few dresses for the fall and hopefully that's all I will need!

(Plus leggings of course!  :). )

I bought a few things around week 15 because my pants just were getting too uncomfortable and I had to keep unbuttoning them. The shirts I bought come in handily now (at 30 weeks) because a lot of my shirts are too tight and show my tummy.

I got a belly band around 9 weeks because I work in an office and have to wear dress pants, which didn't button comfortably for me anymore and would dig into my stomach. Bellyband works great because I can wear my normal pants without buttoning them and it looks like a tank top so I don't have to worry if my shirt is covering it or not! I'm almost 14 weeks now and it's still the only thing I've purchased.
