Has anyone ever gotten a positive after getting a negative a few days after their missed period?

Question

For example: your period was late by 3 days and you took a test and it said negative. but after that, your period still hasn't shown up so you take another test and it's positive.

If yes, how many days did it take for a positive after your missed period?

Mmmkay, here comes my crazy pregnancy confirmation story. 
We'd been trying for 13 months, my period was due on Christmas. Didn't come. Took a test, negative. 
I've never been late before, so I tested again. And again. And again. All negitive. 
So now almost a week had gone by, I took another test on new year's. It was so faintly positive that everyone else told me they didn't see it, and it wouldn't show up on a picture so I couldnt post it on here. So I went to planned parenthood and took a test, they told me it was negative. So, confused and devastated I went home. Come January fifth I took another test, the line was darker but still really hard to see. My boyfriend could see it at that point, so I went to the low cost clinic for a blood test because I was legitimately going out of my mind. Four to five business days for results. Great. 
So I waited. And I took more tests. And they were getting darker! I took my darkest test on January 7th. Same day I got the call that my blood test was negitive. So now I was REALLY going crazy. I argued with my doctor over the phone. He said to come back in a few days and they'd give me another urine test. 
So, I did. 
FINALLY we got a positive!! 
Turns out I was pregnant the whole time but I ovulate 5-3 days before my period (which I guess is super strange) so when you miss your period you've usually been pregnant for two weeks by then, for me, I'd only been pregnant for about three or four days. They'd also mixed up my blood test and someone else's, so I got her reading and she got mine. 
Currently 24 weeks and going strong! Your not out until you get your period honey!

Yes. With my 2nd pregnancy I took a few tests on a Friday BFN. On Sunday I took another because I just knew I was and it was a very dark positive!

The first time we tried in march. Missed my period took a test was neg. kept taking them and still neg on 10 days passed. Made aposintment with my doctor but couldn't get in for a week. 16 days past faint line. Then test at the doc neg but blood test positive. Then my next period came right on time and got more blood work done and yes was loosing it. 
They said I could start trying right away again. So right now I'm 9 days past not sure if I'm just screwed up from last time. Did take a test 4 days past and was neg. waiting till tomorrow morning to take another. Which will be 10 days and should show up by then.
