I went through something like this at 5-7 weeks. Pretty heavy bleeding. Dr saw me at 7 weeks and found a heartbeat. I'm now 22 weeks. Try not to stress. I know how difficult that is. Your apt at 8 weeks will give you an answer.  Good luck!!!

I'm experiencing the same and turned out I have a UTI and just now getting symptoms of it, they gave me meds hopefully bleeding will calm down. Cramps in beginning really common head up! Don't stress to much!

It's looks pretty dark like it could be old. Try not to stress until you see a doctor. I know that's easier said than done. Pray on it and then see your doctor.
