how to get discharge off of underwears!

I just got my period after 18 months period free (9 months pregnancy, 9 months breastfeeding - although I'm still breastfeeding but whatever) ok so becuase of this it means two weeks prior ovulated for the first time. I wasn't expecting this so I wasn't prepared! So with ovulation I get crazy discharge ... like ALOT... like so much so I can feel it coming out and it soaks through my underwear .. usually I just wear pads but like k said I wasn't prepared and unfortunately the first day I had no car and was at home with my baby so I couldn't go to the store to get pads .. Changing my underwear SIX times before I managed to get pads! Anyways I tossed the underwear in the wash basket and washed them with my regular loads of

Laundry but there is still dry remains and stains! How can I get them clean again!
