Help please

So I have been TTC for over a year now and I have been take ovulation test now for a little while and I have gotten a positive test but last month I didn't get a positive test I took a pregnancy test because people told me if I didn't get a positive the only reason would be because I might be pregnant but nothing. Then I got my period. I am going to take ovulation test again this month but if I don't get a positive what should I do
