Nipple piercing and pregnacy...?

Question

I got my nipples peirced in october of 2016. 
I found out i was pregnant in January of 2017.
Im 22w1d so far, i do plan on breastfeeding my baby bear... I am aware that it wouldnt be a good idea to breast feed with my peircings in. I really do like my peircings ! My child is far more jmportant tho. My question is when should i take my peircings out? Im not due until september... Ive been hesitant on taking them out so soon becuase they are still in the healing peocess and i dont want to take them out and trap an infection.. If one forms. Will it be fine to leave them in untill at least july or August. Or should i just take them out now. Will this effect my breast milk production?
Please dont answer if you have no experice with nipple peircings... Thanks in advance! 💋

I took mine out about 6 months in or so. But I had them pierced for years before getting pregnant so they were fully healed. I'm sure you can keep them in right up until you are reaching your due date. Maybe take them off at around 7 months or so to allow them to heal fully before breastfeeding.

You can keep the piercings and just take the jewelry out when you feed if you want to keep them although if they arent healed it may be painful to do

You just have to take them out for feedings. With my daughter 3years ago I had the WORST time trying to feed her because of where my left nipple piercing was..the milk was coming out of the piercing holes so quick that it would break the latch and her suction everytime she would try to feed. Because of this, she couldn't feed from that side enough and I got engorged and had mastitis bad. I actually got this in both breast though. I did try pumping but not enough milk was coming out. I really hope you have better luck then I did. I haven't heard of this happening before to any other ladies on here so I'm sure you'll be fine. Just wanted to share what happened to me. I'd ask your doctor or midwife. Ive had mine out since before I got pregnant but mine fully never healed even after a year, so leaving them in and them healing is 50/50. Wouldn't want them not to and it do something to the milk maybe taking them out so close 🤔 tough call.
