my neighbors house was broken into

Over the weekend my neighbors house was broken into. The people stole dirt bikes that were in the garage. My neighbors were home sleeping when it happened. It was around 2am. They didn't hear a thing. From the details it sounds like it must have been someone that they knew. They just knew exactly how to get into the house undetected. Now I am having real anxiety. We have an alarm system but now I want cameras. Our neighborhood always seemed so safe. Any camera systems reconditions?
