Last night my boyfriend texted me and told me he needs a break as he is extremely sad with his life then we could try again when he felt better with himself. I told him this was okay and that I would try to help him the best I could until then.
I have been falling apart all day and so so sad but pushed this aside to help him.
Tonight I get a text. It says "wanna be my baby again?" Of course I replied "what" and then I got the response "I miss you and I want you back" "that is if you want to come back" 
Come to find out this is his friend on his phone.
He at first only said "I was buying a pop and left my car in the phone that was willie"
No apology at first
I started freaking out bad as I felt as I was just a joke
He starts trying to apologize but I feel so disrespected and I tell him I don't want to talk to him anymore
Now he is super fucking angry at me for being upset and for saying that
He basically believes he didn't do it so I should just get over it
Did I have the right to be mad?

He could be lying and it might not have been his friend cuz that happened to me once where the guy said it was his friend texting me. But it wasn't. If the guy truly loved you then he would have wanted you to be there for him in his hard time. I think you should find a new guy who will hold on to your relationship even when his life starts to crumble

Wow what a shitty friend!! I wouldn't necessarily be mad at him as much as I would his friend. But ya he should know that was wrong and you need your space from him.
