cramping/spotting w Femara?

Anyone have cramping and light brownish spotting on Femara? I have PCOS and rarely does AF come without provera induction. My last AF was about ~35 days ago only after taking provera. So my RE said to just pick a day and start Femara 5mg so I don't have to wait. So I'm technically day 8 of my cycle as I started the Femara last week and they said the first pill is technically day 3. I finished yesterday and since then I've had cramping (not to the severity AF usually brings but still uncomfortable) and brownish mild spotting. I go for a repeat u/s in 2 days to see how the follicles are. Im praying it might just be my ovaries waking up since they have pretty much never worked alone, but I'm so nervous it's AF happening :/ (for once) thoughts?
