PCOS? Can anyone tell me about it?

Like what it is and how it affects you? and how they test for it? Also how is it treated and can you get rid of it? I'm thinking about going to a doctor to find out if I have it but I wanna be prepared and don't wanna rely on just Google

I would Google Alisa Vitti. Her book "Woman Code" discusses actually HEALING PCOS instead of masking the symptoms (and doing further damage to hormone balance and fertility) with BCP. Alisa was diagnosed with PCOS 20 years ago and through adequate and appropriate nutrition and supplementation, her ovaries are cyst free and she conceived naturally in her late 30's!

Most Ob/Gyns just hand you a prescription for The Pill and a life-sentence of pain, infertility, mood disorders and weight gain; that's not the only way! I literally can't express here how important it is to heal the root cause of your PCOS instead of masking the symptoms!
