Stretch marks on my sides?

So why would I get stretch marks around 20 weeks pregnant on my sides? I'm not huge yet but why are they coming out on my sides first rather than my belly? 😂

Just happens. I've always had some stretch marks on my legs but since being pregnant they're purple. I don't have stretch marks anywhere else though. It's weird.

I get them above my bum first. Everyone and their skin is different, you'll get them wherever they decide to show up.

More than just your tummy is stretching... Your hips are making room, your breasts are too, you may get them on your bum and thighs too, because everything is under stress, they are carrying more weight, from baby, fluid, fat gets pushed around as well, don't just expect them on your stomach

My boobs and butt cheeks got them. It can be from weight gain. I didn't gain a lot but where I gained it fast they appeared
