Baby flu

My poor baby is feeling so yucky. He has a runny nose and a cough and a fever and keeps throwing up. I got him some baby Advil and this baby cough runny nose suppressant and some baby Vicks and my Dr is like telling me not to do anything but saline drops like I'm sorry Idk if he's ever had a cold but those do nothing. My poor baby is so miserable and I gave him the meds and he was so happy and playing you could just tell he felt so much better like I asked my dad who's medical and he said it was all fine I'm just confused by my son's Dr sometimes. Like I think I'm doing what's best then he makes me question myself. If he wasn't so good with my son and he's been really helpful in other areas but sometimes I just get frustrated I'm around my baby 24/7 he needs to acknowledge that I do know some things
