Loestrin?

My doctor just prescribed to me for my birth control, Loestrin. I just looked it up and read some stuff on it. Has anybody taken this? Anybody had an side effects?

Hey I'm on loestrin 20! It works pretty well to be honest, after a couple of months things settled down into a routine for me.

Side effects wise, my periods stayed really heavy but were more regular, and I had a couple of really painful ones (but I might have needed a stronger pill) and my periods have now stopped due to crazy amounts of stress. 
I didn't get any more acne, I didn't put on loads of weight or become depressed due to Loestrin. My hair stayed the same oiliness (quite oily tbh) and my boobs grew a bit.

Overall, I found that loestrin works well for me, and hopefully my periods will start again after nearly a year without bleeding (but I still get the PMS cycle and all the crap ugh)

I'm on Lo Loestrin FE, I know there's another type of Loestrin and idk which one you're on but I'd say the only side effect I've noticed is the heaviness of my period is all over the board. Also it's normal to miss a period and not be pregnant, which freaked me out. But yeah, I'll have a two day period with little to no blood one month and a five day heavy flow the next 🤷🏻‍♀️

I wasn't a huge fan of Loestrin, for some reason it gave me two periods a month, but I doubt that will happen with you!

Really mild side effects slight headaches every now and then period is so light last 2-4 days no weight gain sometimes moody but no so much

I was on it for 5 years then did a switch to an IUD and then switched back to it when I got it taken out! The side effects are really mild. When I first started it, I had on/off tension headaches and that was about it. My boobs did swell up about a cup size in the first 6 months but after a year or so went back down to their now normal size. Otherwise I haven't had any nausea or other side effects. I'm a little more emotionally vulnerable on the pill versus the steady, unshakable state of the IUD But it doesn't interfere much with regular day to day life.
