37 trying to conceive...
My fiance and I have been trying to conceive for 15 months. I have an 18 year old son and 15 year old daughter from a previous relationship. 5 yrs ago I had acute necrotizing pancreatitis which had me in a coma with kidney failure, severe liver damage, lung failure as well as many other severe conditions. I made a full recovery after a year and 3 surgeries to remove 1/2 pancreas, gallbladder, appendix, and 2 ft of intestines. I have been given the ok to get pregnant by my ob and my primary doctor's. We did several tests on me including the HSG test (I thought for sure the surgeries or sepsis had blocked my tubes) and I am all good. No blockages or anything keeping me from getting pregnant. We tested my fiance and he has some issues with sperm. Weve been doing some things to better his sperm. I just hope it happens soon for us as i feel like me being 37, my time is running out. I guess I just need to vent...and especially maybe get some encouraging words or advice from some of you wonderful ladies. Thank you!! And baby dust to All!
