baby shower BS (sorry it's long but I need someone to tell me I'm not crazy!)

Okay! Someone hear me out! I love my mother and she loves being involved in my pregnancy. She didn't get that opportunity with my niece as my brother and SIL live 5 hours away. She wants to throw my shower which I was totally down for cause parties stress me out. However, I think her planning it may be stressing me out more.

You see there are things I want at my shower and things I absolutely do not want. Example? Sit-down baby shower games (unscramble baby words, baby bingo, what do baby items cost?) and absolutely nothing that involves wrapping anything around my belly. I have the prize thing all figured out. I want something a little untraditional. Modern and laid back where participation is totally up to the guest. I want edible favors cause no one wants more clutter and crap and I already know my theme. I just wish she'd hear me out. 

Her response? "Well I'll do my best to please everyone." Pardon my prego-psycho but WHOSE EVERYONE?! Her response "You, me, Taylor (the godmother) and Barb (my MIL)" Pretty sure they aren't the ones having a baby. 

Am I being a psycho?! I just know my mothers knack for tack and I know what I envision for the day. I only get one baby shower. Ugh. This makes me stupid anxious.
