ultrasound tech ERROR
I went to have a private ultrasound yesterday... I told the tech I wanted a gender reveal party and were planning it this weekend if she could identify the gender. We discussed the various items in the store that were available for gender reveal and that she could package it up for me. My husband was not present at this ultrasound...and as she was looking at the baby and trying to get that perfect angle... she blurted out, "it's a girl." She almost acted as if the previous conversation did not happen. She told me repeatedly it was a girl and printed out the pictures with "it's a girl " posted all over them. I was in shock! I left there so confused, excited, angry... we cancelled our gender reveal, I had to tell my husband I knew the gender and he wasn't there for it..I'm still in shock. Has anyone else had this experience?
UPDATE, thank you all for your responses, I just want to clarify that I actually went to the ultrasound business for a gender blood test. Unfortunately, the phlebotomist was unable to draw my blood. I had discussed with the tech that I would like the results to be sent to her so I could find out with friends and family at my gender reveal..so I do feel like it was an error on her part. What has me worried now is if the gender is incorrect. Is anyone able to confirm for me before I announce to friends and family?
