Preeclampsia

Has anyone had preeclampsia before during pregnancy ? My doctor told me at 34 weeks, yesterday, that my blood pressure was elevated and I had a small amount of protein in my urine. I am on bed rest for a week and then have to do a 24 hour urinalysis and blood work to determine. If I have it, the baby will have to be taken early. The doctor will try and keep her as long as possible. I'm just wanting to know someone else who has dealt with it and what to expect.
