period and pregnancy?

QUESTION: When pregnant, how much bleeding have you had? Can you be pregnant and have bleeding each month?  ( only when your period is due) with medium-heavy flow for 5 days?

I have had 5 "periods" since I last had sex with medium bleeding for 5 days. I'm on the pill but have had pregnancy symptoms for a bit over 4 months. I have taken a couple of hpts and they were negative.

Posted this in another group but still curious!

No you're not pregnant. Don't be offended but I think your symptoms are just paranoia, which happens to all of us when we think we might have a scare lol

I'm just stressing because Iv been told that you can have what seems like your period for nearly your whole period!! So now I'm worried. 
I have had a pelvic MRI done a few weeks ago. I would have been like 13 weeks at the time. Do you think if my doctor seen that I was pregnant that she would have told me?
