Ex🤔😔🖕

So my boyfriend and I was dating for about 2 months and then he broke up with me because "he was losing too many friends over our relationship." I was really sad and fell deeper into my depression. And before all of this he asked me out and I turn him down and he fought really hard to try to date me. It has been 3 weeks since we broke up and I'm still in school so I still see him talking to mostly girls but staring at me? So, I am very confused, did he date me because I was a trophy or did he care that much of what other people think and does he still like me. (BTW: He said he wanted to go back to being best friends but he never talks to me and he blocked me on Snapchat.)
