Friends disappearing since becoming a mommy?

Any one has less and less friends since becoming a mommy ? Raise your hands up high lol 🙋🏽
The main ppl in my life now are my baby my husband and my sister. 
I interact with ppl well at work and keep it cordial but never hang out after work and always rush home to be with baby.

Yes but it's my choice not theirs. Meaning that I am starting to avoid friends without kids because they just don't get that my life has changed in ways I can't necessarily control. I've told them this but they still act like everything is the same.

For example I have a friend who is used to keeping me on the phone for 1-2 hours at a time to talk about new and old boyfriends. My baby would set the room on fire (hypothetically speaking) in the first 20 minutes of the call.

I and my husband are, however, actively trying to date other couples with young kids 😂

Oh man! We're on our 3rd baby and let me tell you that over the years you find out who your true friends are! Is been just me my husband and our 3 kids for a long while now, sometimes it makes me sad but at the end of the day your family will be the ones who really have your back no matter what

I am incredibly grateful for my friends. I'm a first time mom to a 8 month old and though most of my closest friends are childless, they've been so supportive and helpful. If I can't go out, they understand and if we do, they also understand why I have to go home early. If we take our baby with us, they make sure it's a place we can take a baby to and will meet us at a reasonable time. If I can't leave the house at all, they'll come over to catch up and bring food. But most importantly though they are childless, they allow me to vent to them about motherhood.

I do have one particular friend though that I've Distanced myself from but I would have done it anyway even if I didn't have a kid-- but having my baby propelled me even more to stop putting up with bullshit and toxicity.

Yes. 100% yes. Except it's even worse for me, my husband pretty much isn't involved at all so it's just me and baby!! Thankfully he keeps me plenty company. But time to time I get super sad that everyone is gone now. Other random family members have come out the woodwork though as support that I never thought would! And the people I expected to be unwavering have left. It's so crazy how things have changed. My goals in life have changed, my opinions about people have changed, everything everything everything has changed. But I've never been more fulfilled and filled with purpose. Being a mom to this little boy is my destiny.

That sucks to hear!! My friends still invite me everywhere & I join with my daughter which thankfully is a trooper & tags along great! She'll sit for the hour playing with her toys while we catch up over lunch.
