When did you tell your parents?

Out of curiosity, how far along we're you when you decided to tell your parents/family?

Currently pregnant with our first and have decided to wait until our first scan ☺️

Straight away lol they've been waiting 7years to hear this news so I was too excited to keep it a secret from them X

I told my mom as soon as I got out of the doctors office & into my car. My dad passed away in January of 2017 so I like to think that he just knew as soon as it happened... As for the rest of the world we announced at 8 weeks + 4 days, the day of my first ultrasound. 😊

I usually waited until after week 12, but this time I told my mom at 9 weeks. It felt right and she was delighted. My dad passed away last year... Other family members found out at various times, some didn't know until well after the kids were born. Pretty much the same thing with this one, some know already and others don't yet.

I'm only around 5 weeks now so feels like such a long time to wait until my first scan! I'd hate to get my families hopes up if something were to happen though. I'm positive it will be worth the wait ☺️ xx

I told my parents straight away at 6 weeks cause I was so excited I needed to tell someone. We didn't tell my husbands family until 8 weeks though as that was when we first saw the midwife.

I peed on a stick and then called my mom at work. Drove to my husbands gym immediately after.   Three way called my dad w my mom.  And called my in laws.  All the same day!

We we're going to wait 12 weeks but Thanksgiving was right around then so I think we waited 14weeks we had little Christmas ornaments made with her sono that said "coming May 2017" that we gave them on Thanksgiving. Then for Christmas we did a gender reveal gift lol

We told my parents at 10 weeks and my husband told my mother in law at 14 or 15 weeks.
