I'm 10 days late but I'm not pregnant

So today marks that my period is late 10 days but I already took a pregnancy test and it shows that I'm not pregnant. Yes there's times where I'm a day or two late but never 10 days late.  It's odd because I'm still having what seem to be cramps and my breasts are really sore. I'm wondering if anyone has had the same issue? If so, what's the reason for this to be happening. Is it something to be concerned about? PLEASE HELP!!!
