At what age would you let your child outside alone

I saw on a Facebook mom group earlier that this parent thinks age 4 is appropriate to leave a child outside even though she checks every now and then. I highly disagree because it only takes a split second for a child to disappear or be taken. I don't even let my 6 year old in a room alone for that long because anything can happen.
