How did you tell your parents? Papa Don't Preach

We got our bfp. Still doesn't feel real. I have a doctor appointment on Tuesday (doctor set it up for me 4 weeks ago so I'm excited to let him know the prescriptions worked!)

But how did you tell your parents? And when? My husband keeps saying he wants to tell his mom immediately! I'm nervous. I'm 25. College educated. Great job with benefits. Own my house. Married etc. And I'm still like meditating on the song "Papa Don't Preach" because I'm terrified to tell my dad 😂😂 he'll obviously support me no matter what but he goes on and on about how much smarter it is to wait and save money (his first kid was when he was 19).

How did you tell your parents and how far along were you? I lowkey want to just text my mom haha I'm more excited to tell my grandparents in a couple months.
