Partner not taken pregnancy news well

Hi ladies.
My partner and I had an argument yesterday and so he has been in a fairly awful mood the last two days. I found out today that I am pregnant, and wanted to tell him as soon as possible.
In hinds sight maybe I should have held off until he was in a better mood.
On telling him he said "There's a surprise" and accused me of doing it on purpose to try and trap him because I'm so controlling.
We've been so so good recently, so I'm extremely hurt by this.
I've explained to him how I think it's happened while we were on holiday, but he is very angry with me.
I feel like his mood now isn't going to lift for us to be able to talk about things. It's not really a great time for us, and it's not how I'd have planned it.
Does anyone have any advise? Is it normal for a man to accuse like this?
I'm worried he might now try and run for the hills, or should anything happen and the pregnancy doesn't continue, this will have been the wake up call he needed to leave me. He has been close to doing so a few months the back.
I'm feeling very alone and any advice would be really appreciated. X
