how long after your 1st baby would/did you have your 2nd?

We were thinking we'd make them close in age but financially that didn't work out for us. We ended up waiting 5 instead of after our first was potty trained like we originally planned. But I feel that being a big sister at this age is really great for her because she is learning and helping her little sister learn too 😊

Our first was a few days short of 2 years old when we had our second baby. Last week our baby turned 4, our oldest turned 6 yesterday and our third is due next Tuesday. We wanted to have kids every other year to keep them close but 2 years ago we got a puppy instead and new cars so we skipped a pregnancy.

I have a stepdaughter turning 8 and my daughter turning 2 (both the end of June) and I'm due the beginning of October. I feel like around 2 years is perfect! I also love having my two 6 years apart too because the oldest is soooo helpful
