I get made fun of for being black.

I'm 20 and I've never had a boyfriend. My friends (and a few other people) make fun of me and tell me if I were lighter someone would find me attractive. They also tell me I need to get long hair because my hair has always been natural and it touches the tops of my shoulders. Today, they gave me bleaching cream as a present and I just cried. Has anyone been through this before? We all have been friends for about 10 years and a few times a month they joke around with my complexion.
