Diva cup

I've posted this in another group but there doesn't seem to be as many people so maybe this group is more active?

I've been trying to use the diva cup but it has been hard for me to get in. It hurts and I'm not sure why. I get it only about halfway up. I'm not a virgin, is it possible that my vagina is too tight? Also, I have been using tampons for about 12 years now and recently those have also been hurting to put in even on my heavy days where I'm more lubricated. Does anyone know why it would hurt my vagina all of a sudden?
