UPDATE rhogam shot?

I have to get my rhogam shot and the diabetes test this Friday 😭 anyone had it done yet?? Of course I had to have the rarest blood type 😑 ......

UPDATE: who knows if I passed, my doctor said that half fail the first test because they set the level so low...

Glucose: All in all it was easy!!! The drink didn't taste bad, towards the end it got a little too sweet. It tastes like a flavor ice pop that melted. I did get woozy from all of the sugar, and the baby kicked a lot after about 10 minutes so we came home and took a three hour nap.

The shot: I worried for nothing! They put it in my hip and I barely felt a pinch!! The leg on the same side sorta stiffened for a bit but it was easy. I think the shot made me extra sleepy so make sure you don't have to go to work or anything after these things.

I did both yesterday! I was dreading it so bad I don't do well with shots or blood draws so I was expecting the worst. They both went great!! The drink wasn't bad at all and the blood draw went quick. Then the rhogam shot was done later and I hardly even felt it. I was shocked. It didn't burn or sting or anything at all. I had it done in my hip so I'm sure that helped. I walked out feeling so great because I had been worried and scared over nothing! :)

It only stings for a second - no worse than any other shots I've had! The pain does not linger.

Yes!! Don't worry, the shot is fast and doesn't hurt.  I took the glucose test last week and it came back normal.  The drink isn't bad.  Just don't chug it.  It could make your stomach upset if u drink to fast.  Bring a book or your phone with you to keep busy while you wait.

Don't have to get the shot but I did the glucose test and it wasn't all that bad. I would ask for a cold one. After fasting it's good to drink something that's probably why I liked it so much lol. It's not bad just take something to do that way you won't have time to sit and think about it

I did the diabetes test and passed , but found out my iron is low. And I just had my 5th rhogam shot. They hurt, but its only for a second. O Neg. Isn't super rare..its just that only 15% percent of WOMEN have "O" Neg.
