Original due date June 3rd. May 31 morning:,I knew something was up when my stomach felt very heavy, no matter what I did. I went to the bathroom and there was a huge wet spot in my pajama shorts. I figured maybe I peed myself, I sat down on the toilet and peed but extra fluid kept coming out. And then when I stood up I was dribbling. I called my doctor and then I called my mom to take me to the hospital. Light contractions started about 10 minutes later, around 8:30. Arrived at the hospital around 9:00 and the contractions were getting stronger, but very irregular. The nurses checked me and my water did break. I was given pitocin to regulate my contractions. My husband arrived and I dealt with the pain until I reached 5 centimeter then I asked for epidural. Rested until 2:00, when the pressure in my bum felt stronger. Pushed for an hour and 16 minutes. My baby girl weighed 8 pounds 7 ounces-a lot bigger than the ultrasound said! I'm glad I didn't induce last weekend, she came on her own! Martina 💖💖💖
