Has anyone thought you were flirting when you were just being kind?
One of my male friends, John, I believe thinks I'm flirting with another one of my friends, Derrick.
I think this because I attempted to simply cheer up Derrick by giving him a hug and messing up his hair a bunch, although I thought it was simply a kind gesture and did not think too much about it.
I'm in high school as well, if that changes anything about the scenario.
