Birth control and ttc

I was put on birth control when I was 15. Giving me one year of actually having a real period. I just recently got off of it and haven't had a period yet. Is there a chance of me getting pregnant without my cycle starting after getting off? I keep testing due to some symptoms I have for a long period of time and they always come out negative. I've given up on tests cause they always say negative and they put me down.
