So, I am 31 and going to be a first time mom this September. My husband has two daughters from a previous marriage, ages 8 and 4. He really wants his daughters in the room for the birth of our daughter. I do not feel comfortable with the idea, especially with this being my first time... I would rather it just be me, him, and MAYBE my mom (still not 100% on allowing her). The girls are naturally curious, and can't wait to meet their little sister, but I really don't want the added stress/them being "in the way" (they are slightly rambunctious, I'm not going to lie..) when I'm in pain or hungry, I'm HATEFUL. Lol.. I just know I'm going to be mean to everyone that comes in the room, so I want to keep it as minimal as possible until after we've had bonding time with our newborn. Am I wrong for feeling this way? Am I being selfish? I need advice..
