Do you support movements that don't benefit you?

I don't mean blindly supporting all movements/causes...but do you support ones that you think are good ideas but don't directly affect you?

For example men identifying themselves as feminists. Being pro-choice even though you wouldn't personally make that choice.(DO NOT MAKE THIS AN ABORTION TOPIC.) Supporting LGBTQ+ rights even though you're not in that group. Fighting for the right to BF uncovered in public, even if you choose not to.

Things of that nature.

I've seen so many women saying things like "I don't support feminism. I don't need it because my husband is the head of our household."

I just don't understand how you can ignore people fighting for basic rights because you feel it "doesn't impact you."
