LOTS of EWCM but neg OPK? Fertile or no? What's going on?

So we've only been TTC for about a month now. I wasn't sure how normal my cycles would be after my implanon was removed, so I was thrilled when I got my EWCM. Of course, I took an OPK right away, but it was confused when it turned up negative. What does this mean? Is it possible to have EWCM and not actually ovulate? I'm brand new to all of this and so confused. Help!

It is possible that your surge is finished but you are ovulating. OPK stands for ovulation PREDICTION kit. Typically you get a positive 24-72 hours BEFORE O. BD and keep testing. Like the other woman said it is also possible to have EWCM and not be Oing yet.
