Trying after miscarriage

I am attempting to try again post miscarriage. I had a miscarriage of twins in April, a d&c on April 14th. I've had weekly blood draws every week to monitor my levels (due to possibility of partial molar, but that diagnosis has been reversed now).

I had what I thought was my period last Wednesday, but my hcg was at 16 ... my doctor said it was possible to have a period at not be at 0. I've started testing my ovulation with the clear blue advanced with the smiley faces but so far it's all been negative. I normally ovulated a week after my period but now I'm not sure what to expect. I've still had some pinkish color of blood when I wipe so I don't know what that means. Has anyone had a similar experience? And did anyone ovulate after they got their period? I'm probably testing too soon but I'm anxious to be back to normal. I do want to add i have a 2 year old that I had no complications with when pregnant or during labor.
