when should I announce?!

So either my husbands birthday (June 18) I will only be about 7 weeks 5 days. I will have already gone to an appointment too. Or my birthday July 28 about 13 weeks along?
It would just be close family! When did you announce? 
Any cute ideas?!!

We waited until we had the genetic testing done at around 12 weeks until we told another soul. xo

We waited until 12 weeks to tell anyone, but that was a personal choice as I wouldn't have wanted fuss if anything went wrong. If you will rely on a support network regardless I think you can announce any time! Saying that, a Friends in laws got angry when they announced early and then miscarried and actually said "don't tell us so early next time and get our hopes up!"

We waited to tell people until after 12w when we had the can to make sure everything was fine. Miscarriage is so common before 8w (really before 12w, but especially 8w), we didn't really want to tell people and then tell them again if something happened.

Whenever you feel like it! I announced my first at 9 weeks. Right after out ultrasound. We announced our 2nd at 5 weeks, and I didn't have an ultrasound until 10.5 weeks. I know some people wait because they fear miscarriage, but there isn't a rule that says you have to. Celebrate that baby and tell when you're ready!

I announced early like 5 weeks. I know it's super early and anything could happen but I wanted to share my baby with the whole world. There really is no "perfect" time. Just when our feel it is right.
